Vincent Siders – Director/Lead Teaching Artist

Vincent is an actor, director, producer, and educator. He is the Lead Instructor and Director of the Ambassadors of Youth Underground at Central Square Theater. He has received two Acting awards and two nominations for Best Direction from the Independent Reviewers of New England, the Elliot Norton Award for Best Actor, and Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston Award for Best Actor. Vincent is the founder and artistic director of TYG Productions, home of the Family Beef Feast Fest.

Liv King – Teaching Assistant

Liv is a recent graduate of Boston University’s School of Theatre, where she studied directing, scenic design, and props artisanship. Liv has directed productions of Scenes with Girls, Fefu and Her Friends, and The Crucible. She has also designed many shows, including American Buffalo, Constellations, and the regional premiere of Entry. Liv has a passion for science fiction, 90’s alternative rock, and theatrical collaboration.

Gabriela Tovar-Borghini – YU Playwriting Fellow

Gabriela Tovar-Borghini is an emerging playwright currently based in the Boston area. They also enjoy directing and working with movement! According to urban legend, Gaby has been reading and writing since before they could speak… Obviously, this is not true, but they have been writing for quite a long time. Currently, they just closed their new work production last fall at the Boston Center of the Arts for Llorona, or the Weeping Women. Like most playwrights, they are hoping to use their love of words for change. She desires to create work for others who maybe haven’t gotten the opportunity to envision themselves as a main character yet.

Kendal Bazerman – Playwriting Assistant

Kendal Bazerman is a dramaturg and lifelong theatre artist from Rhode Island, and is so excited to be working with YU this summer as the Playwriting Assistant! She is entering her sophomore year at the University of Michigan, where she has worked on pieces including Gloria (Assistant Dramaturg), Oklahoma! (Marketing Manager), Marat/Sade (Production Assistant), and most recently, the new work Flies In The Maafe (Dramaturg). She believes strongly in the power of art as a form of advocacy and the incredible impacts of theatre participation on youth.

Megan Amato – Production Stage Manager

Megan Amato is a rising senior at Boston University double- majoring in Journalism and Film Studies. She is a sort-of theatrical jack-of-all-trades, holding many different positions on a production — often at the same time! And she is so excited to be back with YU this summer! In addition to being the proud president of the BU Shakespeare Society, previous credits include: CST’s Another Thing to Do (Assistant Stage Manager, Lighting + Props Designer), Wandering Mind’s Witch (Technical Director), Shakespeare Society’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Technical Director), BU On-Broadway’s Merrily We Roll Along (Social Media Designer), and many more!

Enisa Bennett – Assistant Stage Manager

Enisa has worked with CST for 3-4 years now. She has been involved in things from acting with CST to working as a Stage Manager with CST. Other credentials include working as a teaching assistant and working as an ASM with this summer’s MSYEP YU youth. Through this, she has grown skills in different aspects of theater and is able to extend that hand out to others. This place is a home that forever has her heart!
